I am so glad I had Erica as my doula. She helped us map out what we wanted and helped to educate my husband and I on options we had for our birth and newborn care by explaining the pros and cons of each choice. She was supportive in preparation leading up to our birth and helped me to advocate for things I wanted. She supported me during an intense labor and had many positions and insights for both my husband and I. Ultimately, due to circumstances out of anyone’s control I had to have a c section birth but am so glad to know that I had Erica there to help avoid it if possible. She was so supportive afterwards in recovery and helped our little guy start breastfeeding. Her support when I got home was so helpful too, checking in on us and sending encouraging texts even after our follow up visit. We are so grateful to have had Erica on our birth team!

Best doula ever! Erica was such a blessing to us! She checked in with me frequently the days before labor even began. When I was starting labor, Erica was at the ready and instinctually knew when to come over when I was indecisive and labor was up and down (unlike my previous 3 that progressed consistently). From the moment she arrived at our home, she was attentive to what my body needed to get labor to progress. This was my 4th birth, 2nd water birth (1st was without a doula), and 1st home birth. She did her job with such composure and grace even with my other three kids all around asking a million questions:) Her coaching at the time of intense labor was so key in reminding me to stay alert to my body and made it possible for me to have my first essentially “pain free” birth! My husband was so thankful she was there, too, to share the duty of counter pressure and they made a great team cheering me on! My midwife also sung her praises afterward as she was very impressed and loved working with her:) I honestly believe my birth wouldn’t have gone as perfectly smooth without her as a part of my birth team.

As a first time mom, I am so glad that we met Erica and decided to have a doula to support us with our pregnancy and delivery. We ended up having a c-section and having Erica was incredibly helpful! She was a calming presence and advocate for mine and my husbands wishes during the birth. She also provided so many contacts and resources, from a chiropractor to a lactation consultant, Erica has lots of connections in her network. And thanks to Erica we have amazing pictures of our baby girls birth! Thank you Erica for being a part of our pregnancy and birth journey!
